Color Pencil on Ampersand Pastelboard

This is worked after the instructions and design by Nicole Caulfield. It's a first for me to work on this surface and I am not sure if I like it or not. The colors sure seem very vibrant, and the speed of completion was relatively fast. I will definitely try again and see how it goes.

Pastelbord is different to work on isn't it? You certainly got a lot of pigment down. For the cup to be so white looking, you must have been sharpening a lot! Great job.

Yes, it sure is! I do like the painterly like effect and the color saturation one can achieve with this surface. I hope someone will write a cp book soon on working with pastel board. ;-)
