Stargazer Lily

After drawing several pieces in graphite I had a desire to play with my color pencils for a change. As you can see, I still need practise to get better in this medium. A scan sure reveals all imperfections...ugh... It's a small 3.5 x 2.5 ATC size. I used watercolor pencils as a base and quite a variety of different colors prisma cp's on top....blended with a Lyra colorless blender (this blender works wonderful and I prefer it to the prisma blender...it's a bit softer than the prisma blender)
Next project coming up will be a baby portrait in graphite, for a dear friend. Stay tuned.

Christine, you may not be as practiced in color as you are in graphite, but this is lovely and a real indication of what you can do if you try!
