Well, here it is....finished....I gave the very best that I am at this time capable of. This portrait was a valuable learning experience for me and hopefully some of you can draw inspiration from it. I might touch it up in a few days once I look at it with fresh eyes. ;o )

It's amazing, Christine! *You're* amazing! I just can't find the words to do you and this work of art justice.
Beautifully done. The eyes are exceptional.

Melissa, happy belated birthday...I am so glad you like the portrait. It's not 100%, but still a decent likeness. Enjoy!! :o )

Oh Christine, what a beautiful portrait. You do such fantastic work with your skin tones. Such delicacy and detail in the eyebrows! Drawing a face at this angle isn't easy and you have done a fabulous job!! You make doing a mouth with that shape look easy. :-) A perfect nose and such lovely eyes. Congratulations, this is fabulous!
Great work! I noticed how much detail you put into the stitches on his shirt...not something I would probably have the patience for, haha. Such a cute portrait!
Teresa, thank you so very much ! You are to kind and always generous with praise. I truly appreciate it always!! :o )
Thank you for noticing, Kelly! Yes, the stitches took a little while to do, but not so bad. ;o )
the very best of a very best graphite artist, Christine!

Hi Elena, awww your words make me blush. There is still so much to learn and at times I do not feel as good as you described me here. But I thank you for your kind words! ;o ))
