American Hero Portrait - Work In Progress

Update 5
This update shows a little bit more layering to the face, as well as neck and background work done. There is a bit more layering to do, then I'll move on to render the shirt.

Wonderful work Christine. It takes lots of patience to produce work like this. You are so talented . I am enjoying seeing the progress on Dustin. Look forward to seeing the finished portrait.

Hi Dors, thank you kindly for your nice comment! Next update should be coming forth shortly, now that I am past the most difficult parts, i.e. hair and facial features.

Wonderful, Christine! You're really moving on this now and I'm excited to see it finished also.

Me too Jan. Shouldn't be much longer now. ;-)

Hi Christine, You're doing so great, the eyes are already looking right to the viewer, you're doing a wonderful work... I can't say anything else...

Hi Carolina, thank you for your assessment of the eyes. This was a tricky part to get right, and I am glad that you think they look correct. Glad you stopped by! :-)

Thanks for all the list of forums Christine. BTW how long did it take you to finish the whole portrait?

No problem. I was glad to do it. Duration for "Fallen Hero", April 10, 2011 - August 23, 2011. This one took me the longest of all the portraits I had done before. Cheers, Christine ;-)
